How to Vote in Person
In Harris and Galveston counties, registered voters may vote in their county of residence at any of their county’s polling locations during Early Voting or on Election Day.
Steps to Vote in Person
Confirm you are registered to vote
Confirm you have photo ID
Choose when and where you will vote
Research candidates and issues on your ballot
Bring these items to the polls

CHOOSE WHEN AND WHERE YOU WILL VOTE
Both Harris and Galveston counties have county-wide voting centers for Early Voting and on Election Day – i.e., a voter may vote at any polling center in his/her county of residence. See

The League of Women Voters highly recommends voting during Early Voting.
RESEARCH CANDIDATES AND ISSUES ON YOUR BALLOT

, the League’s online, interactive voters guide for nonpartisan information on candidates and ballot issues.
The League supplies printed nonpartisan voter guides at area libraries.
No phones are allowed at the polls, so print out or make a list of your selections.
BRING THESE ITEMS TO THE POLLS
Your photo ID is required.
Any paper notes, printed research from Vote411 or your sample ballot with your candidates marked. You cannot use your phone at the polls.
You do not have to bring your voter registration card.
